About me

I am a Brooklyn mom/wife/person, living in Prospect Heights with my husband, 2 year old son, and newborn girl. Every once in a while we manage to get it together only to have it slip right out of our grasp. So we start again. It’s kind of like ‘us against the world’ except for all the support we get, sometimes from unexpected sources.

“718″ is a reference to the outer boroughs of NYC, the area code for Brooklyn, the Bronx, Queens and Staten Island. This is my personal blog. I also blog, at least twice per month, at nycmomsblog.com.

I was wondering if you are still part of the Prospect Heights babysitting co-op. I read your blog post from last year. NY City Explorers is doing a free event this Friday (8/14) – morning and afternoon. The afternoon session is in Prospect Heights (it’s going to be four great classes and a BBQ). Can I send you info? Please give me the best e-mail?
